Data Deletion Instructions

Ask us to delete your data

Email info@agenis.io with the subject "Data deletion request". Include the name, email address or phone number, and (if it applies) the Facebook or Instagram account or Page you used to message a business through Agenis, so we can find your records.

We will confirm the request, verify it, and delete the relevant data, except records we must keep for legal, billing, or compliance reasons (such as consent and opt-out logs), as described in our Privacy Policy.

Data received through Facebook or Instagram

When you message a business that uses Agenis on Messenger or Instagram, Agenis stores the conversation (your name or profile ID and the messages) for that business only, so it can reply. To remove the Agenis app's access to your Facebook account, go to Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find Agenis, and select Remove. When you remove the app and choose to delete your activity, Facebook notifies Agenis automatically and we delete the Facebook Page connection and Facebook contact details we hold for your account. You can also email us as above to delete the data already stored.

If a business contacted you through Agenis

That business controls your data. We will pass your request to them and help them honor it. You can also reply STOP to any text message to opt out.

Agenis customers

Account owners can close their account and delete workspace data from Settings, or email info@agenis.io.
