What is Booked Meeting Rate?

Booked meeting rate is the percentage of contacted prospects who agree to and schedule a meeting, calculated as meetings booked divided by prospects contacted. It's the bottom-line output metric for most outbound programs, because meetings — not opens or replies — are the handoff point where pipeline actually starts.

Because it sits at the end of the funnel, booked meeting rate reflects the combined quality of everything upstream: targeting, messaging, follow-up discipline, and speed to lead. Improving it usually means fixing the weakest of those links rather than sending more volume.

It's most useful alongside show rate and cost per meeting — a high booked rate isn't worth much if half the meetings never happen or each one costs too much to acquire.
