What is Show Rate?

Show rate is the percentage of booked meetings that prospects actually attend, calculated as meetings held divided by meetings scheduled. It's the reality check on booked meeting rate: a pipeline full of no-shows looks productive on paper but produces no conversations and no deals.

Low show rates usually trace back to weak qualification, long gaps between booking and the meeting, or poor reminders. The common fixes are booking sooner, confirming interest during qualification, and sending timely reminders across channels — an SMS reminder the morning of a call often lifts show rate noticeably.

Because it directly affects how many booked meetings turn into real opportunities, show rate belongs in any honest cost-per-meeting calculation.

  • •Meetings held ÷ meetings scheduled
  • •Improve with sooner bookings and multi-channel reminders
  • •No-shows quietly inflate cost per real conversation
