Outreach

What is Multi-Channel Outreach?

Multi-channel outreach is the practice of contacting prospects across several channels — such as email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram, and LinkedIn — within a single coordinated sequence, rather than relying on any one channel alone. Because different people respond on different channels, spreading touches across them meaningfully raises the odds of getting a reply.

The key word is coordinated: the channels should work together as one narrative, not fire independently. A missed call followed by a relevant text, then an email that references both, feels like a person paying attention rather than three disconnected robots.

Multi-channel is closely related to omnichannel, but the emphasis here is on using multiple channels in sequence; omnichannel adds the promise of a unified, consistent experience across all of them.

  • •Coordinate channels into one narrative, not parallel blasts
  • •Different prospects respond on different channels
  • •Reply rates typically beat single-channel, email-only outreach
